Janick Simeray is a physicist who holds over 120 patents and who founded the company SimerLab to commercialize his creations. He has a long track record of innovation: Janick's Ph.D. dissertation at Valenciennes University detailed the application of the Larsen Effect within the Laser Range Finder. In recognition of his efforts, the Societe Francaise de Physique awarded him the prestigious Prix Yves Rocard in 1994.
